It’s a lightweight emulsion that performs effortlessly to help reestablish moisture for plumper, juicier, healthier-looking skin.
The advantages of a lightweight, water-based moisturizer formula are inclusive of a range of skin types: Oily, combo, or acne-prone wearers will appreciate the subtle texture and effectiveness as a single moisturizing step; normal to dry skin complexions can alternate using alone or under a creamier moisturizing lotion.
Key Ingredients in Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer
Let’s talk about why we called it Half & Half. This fluid moisturizer is a lightweight emulsion formulated with our ½ peptide and ½ ceramide complexes. Our peptide complex improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles while our ceramide complex helps strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. Together, they work to deliver an improved feel and texture to your complexion.
We used an advanced ceramide called 1% Dermo-mimetic Ceramide NP, which helps restore the skin barrier and improve elasticity. It features a special lipidic matrix that mimics the skin lipid. That mimicry works to increase skin compatibility, improving the efficacy of the ceramides. A PCA and amino acid blend were added to further moisturize the skin and provide a plumping effect.
How is Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer Different From a Serum or Toner?
Our Half & Half Lightweight Moisturizer is a milky emulsion format designed to mimic the benefits of a moisturizing lotion or cream—yet feel almost weightless. It’s a thin fluid that still feels plush and has some cushion. It’s not a toner or an essence; it’s a true lightweight moisturizer that feels almost as light as a toner or essence. It provides a great alternative to traditional creams or face oils.
Our recommendation for application is to shake the fluid right into the palms of your hands and pat into the skin, neck, and chest. Allow it to absorb. It can also be used on the body. It leaves skin looking and feeling softer, smoother, and more supple.
Order of Application: How to Layer Half & Half
When approaching your own individual skin care routine, we recommend staying consistent with a simple lightest-to-heaviest method of application. Start with clean dry skin, follow with a liquid exfoliant weekly as needed, then apply serum or serums for your skin concerns, then layer on our Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer to deliver immediate visual hydration results. And of course, always apply sunscreen protection in the daytime.
If you find you need more moisturization, apply a more substantial cream or lotion on top of Half & Half in the evenings. Start slow with any new product application and always watch and listen to your skin's reaction to adjust accordingly.

For drier skin needs, we suggest applying your favorite cream or lotion on top for extra nourishment. Our Half & Half Lightweight Moisturizer can also be used in your AM routine with a more substantial cream or lotion in your PM routine.
