Double-cleansing is the practice of using an oil-based cleanser, like Pre-Gleanse, followed by a water-based cleanser, like Gleanser. The first step breaks down stubborn products like waterproof makeup and sunscreen, along with extra skin sebum. The second step removes any remaining product and grime, leaving your skin fully cleansed—which helps the rest of the products in your routine (serums, moisturizers, etc.) better penetrate your skin.

Q: Are these safe for sensitive skin?

Gleanser & Gleanser + SA are safe for sensitive skin as well as safe for skin with eczema, rosacea, and other mild skin conditions. For Gleanser Glycolic, we would recommend our original Gleanser Cleanser or patch test prior to full use to ensure no sensitivities occur.
