How often should I use Skin Utility Balm?

As often as needed to keep skin soft and moisturized.

Why does the Skin Utility Gel have other seals that the Skin Utility Balm and Skin Utility Ointment do not have?

Not every product is submitted for testing and review by the various organizations (National Rosacea Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, National Eczema Association). As a brand we have decided which seals are most applicable for each product and selectively submit those selected products for seal application.

What is the difference between the Skin Utility Balm and Skin Utility Ointment?

Skin Utility Balm contains 5.25% dimethicone as the active ingredient in a water based balm format while the Skin Utility Ointment contains 45% petrolatum as the active ingredient in an anhydrous ointment format. The texture and occlusivity differ but both work as skin protectants. The Ointment can also be used on minor burns, scraps, and cuts while the balm is not intended for this function.

Can I use Skin Utility Balm if I have psoriasis, rosacea?

Skin Utility Balm is safe for use with sensitive, acne-prone skin, as well as skin prone to eczema, psoriasis, and other mild skin conditions.
