Solar Shade Sunscreen includes bioactives such as microalgae, ethyl ferulate, and rice phytomolecules that each provide unique support to skin exposed to solar radiation. Ethyl Ferulate, a derivative of ferulic acid, neutralizes the signs of external aggressors while soothing the skin. Antioxidant molecules extracted from black, red, and brown rice increase the skin’s tolerance and defense against oxidative stress caused by solar radiation and pollution. Our Multi-Quench Plumping Hydration Serum is a humectant based serum with the star ingredient polyglutamic acid (PGA). Polyglutamic acid is a non-exfoliating peptide made up of several glutamic acid molecules. PGA is a moisturizing polymer that can be synthesized in the lab or created from the fermentation of natto and similar to hyaluronic acid, the molecular size dictates its function or skin benefit.

Sun Barrier Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ Mineral Sunscreen contains antioxidants including tetrahydrocucuminoids, standardized molecules from turmeric root, that scavenge free radicals, reduce irritation and increase skin brightness. Pongamia is an extract that helps reduce skin stress following UV exposure and environmental aggressors. We also added bisabolol, calendula, and centella asiatica to reduce the appearance of redness and provide skin relief.
A sunscreen labeled with a broad spectrum claim indicates that it shields the skin from both UVA and UVB radiation, the two primary types of ultraviolet radiation that contribute to skin damage, premature aging, and skin cancer. Sunscreens that do not indicate broad spectrum only protect against UVB radiation and only have an SPF value on the packaging. Broad-spectrum sunscreens have the additional claim “broad spectrum” listed before the SPF value.
